A semi carrying fruit flipped on the interstate around 8:00 Saturday evening in Scott County.
Police tell LEX-18 the produce truck went off the highway and overturned on I-75 northbound near mile marker 122. The roof of the cab busted open spilling crates of lettuce, grapefruit, watermelon and other produce.
Witness told deputies the truck swerved a bit before going off the road. The driver was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
One lane of I-75 will be closed while the semi is turned upright.
Avoid the area if at all possible.
