The man convicted of of gunning down his boyfriend in the parking lot of Lexington Green in March 2009 is scheduled for sentencing Friday.

Last month, a jury found Toby Lasure, 33, guilty of of murder, fleeing and evading, and leaving the scene of a crime in the shooting of Christopher Tolliver. It recommended a life sentence, plus five years.

Prosecutors said Lasure killed Tolliver because he tried to end their relationship.
