A family of seven escaped unharmed but lost everything after a fire destroyed their Clark County home Wednesday morning.

The fire broke out at about 8:30 a.m. at a home on Lincoln Street in Winchester. Officials say there were seven people in the home at the time of the fire, including four children ranging in age from 10 months to four years old.

Firefighters say they don't have a cause yet, but it appears the fire started in the attic area.

Officials say the family had moved into the home about a month ago.
