Several Former Cats Likely To Spend Summer In Lexington During NBA Lockout

The NBA is officially locked out. No league business will be done until there is a collective bargaining agreement in place.

That could take a while.

Most experts believe the lockout will drag on so long that there will not be a full NBA season. It's what some guys said there were a little leary of, but probably didn't think hard enough about it before deciding to leave school.

But, since there is a lockout, you can expect to see some familiar faces around Lexington.

John Calipari has said several times that if a lockout happened, he invited all of his former players to come and work out in Lexington at the Joe Craft Center and take a summer class or two. That includes former players from Memphis, like Derrick Rose and Tyreke Evans.

Brandon Knight said before the draft that if there was a lockout, he envisioned himself coming back to UK to continue his education and workout. On Thursday night, John Wall put on his twitter that he was excited to come to Kentucky for the summer.

Don't be surprised if several other players follow suit, because this really could take a while.
