Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued For Much Of Area

The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for several areas in the LEX 18 viewing area.
The warning is in effect until 12:15 p.m. in the following areas: northern Anderson County, western Fayette County, including the city of Lexington, southern Franklin County, including the city of Frankfort, southern Scott County, including the city of Georgetown, Woodford County, southern Shelby County and eastern Spencer County.
