A Shelby County man has been indicted on charges that he possessed child pornography.

Attorney General Jack Conway on Tuesday announced the indictment of 50-year-old Ronald Craig Hornback of Shelbyville. A Shelby County grand jury indicted Hornback on April 21 on four counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.

Investigators from General Conway’s Cybercrimes Unit, with assistance from Kentucky State Police, arrested Hornback on February 26 after executing a search warrant several days earlier at Hornback’s home. His arrest and indictment are the result of a nearly five- month investigation by the Cybercrimes Unit, a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Hornback remains on monitored house arrest and has been ordered to have no contact with minors under the age of 16. His bond has been reduced to $10,000 full cash.
