A Russell County Sheriff's deputy found himself on the other side of the law Friday night when he was arrested at a house with a meth lab inside.
While investigating a burglary in Russell Springs, police found a one-step meth lab in a bag. From that, police got a search warrant for Deputy Nick Bertram's home in Jamestown.
There they found items related to the earlier burglary, a large amount of drug paraphernalia and a one-step meth lab.
Bertram is facing official misconduct, evidence tampering and drug possession charges. He remains in the Russell County Jail.
