Breaking news in north Lexington. Police say a young man has been shot at least once in the head at an apartment complex on Winburn Drive.

It happened at the Matador North Apartments around 8:45 Tuesday night.

The young man was taken to UK Hospital with what are described as serious injuries. Police are working to get a description of the shooter.
