Police say they found a hoard of weapons and possibly stolen property while investigating a man who shot his granddaughter this week.
According to the Interior Journal, David Brummett was arrested Friday on two counts of receiving stolen property after police say they found more than 100 guns and $10,000 dollars worth of stolen property.
Police have found at least one of the guns has been reported stolen and another gun had the serial number removed.
David is the son of Danny Brummett who, police say, shot his granddaughter on Thursday then turned the gun on himself.
The granddaughter was hit in the leg and has already been released from the hospital, but Danny Brummett remains at UK Hospital recovering from a gunshot wound to the head.
