Some parents in Madison County expressed outrage that school buses ran Wednesday morning, even while the county was under a tornado warning.
School officials said they have to make a decision to call off classes by 5:30 a.m. The tornado warning was issued after the deadline. But some parents didn't buy the reasoning.
"There should have been a delay. Those buses should have been off the streets. They shouldn't have been out carrying children, and they were. That's just how I feel," Melissa Hammond said.
Madison County Schools officials say they will review policies and make changes if they determine it necessary.
