It may be hard to believe when you see the forecast, but spring actually begins Wednesday morning at 7:02 edt. That is the time of the vernal equinox...the real live, honest to goodness, start of spring when the sun is directly over the equator. The sun will rise at the North Pole and not set again until September.

There will be kids standing eggs on their sides all over the place. BTW, it's an old wive's tale...you can actually stand the eggs up anytime with a steady hand.
