A standoff between Lexington police and an armed man in southwest Lexington continues.

Police say they have arrested a second man who was inside the house on unrelated warrants. A third roommate walked out of the house when the standoff began.

Police were originally called to the home along Della Drive, off Harrodsburg Road, around 1:45 a.m. after reports of shots fired. When officers arrived, they found a man standing in a front yard holding a rifle. Police say the man then barricaded himself inside of his house.

Officers say the man is not making any threats against anybody or himself, he just doesn't want to come out.

Police say the man does have outstanding warrants for traffic and probation violations.
