State Police: Casey County Couple Dead in Apparent Murder-Suicide

A Kentucky man shot his girlfriend and then turned the gun on himself late Friday night, according to the Kentucky State Police.
Police say the shooting happened at a home on Little South Road in Gravel Switch, KY in Casey County.
Investigators discovered the deceased bodies of Judith Duncil, 52, and George Merrick, 61, lying on the porch of the home.
According to State Police, the couple were arguing on Friday night when Merrick got his rifle from his truck, and shot Duncil. Police say Merrick then took his own life.
The Kentucky State Police continue to investigate.
