The risk for severe thunderstorms continues for late tonight and into Wednesday morning. The greatest threat continues to be in western Kentucky, but the slight risk for tonight now extends to the I-75 corridor.
A squall line has already formed in Missouri and will begin to head eastward at a quicker pace as we go through this evening. Damaging wind gusts continue to be the primary threat as the squall line roars through.
Watches and warnings will be likely later tonight, so you need to stay weather aware as we track these storms through.
It will be windy even away from these storms as well. Stay with LEX 18 for updates through tonight.
