We're starting off September similar to how we finished August, with some rain and thunderstorms in the forecast.
As we reach the mid point of your holiday weekend we'll see a sky that becomes partly sunny during the day. We're already tracking a cluster of thunderstorms moving out of southeast Kentucky this morning. We'll see new storms fire up this afternoon, especially if we break into sunshine midday. It's not an all day rain or washout though, so we will have several dry hours today.
It's still humid today as we top out in the upper 80's.
