Basic Dip
8 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
24 ounces sour cream
Beat cream cheese until softened. Add sour cream, mix until smooth. Divide in half. Add separate ingredients to make 2 dips, mix well and chill.
Blue Cheese Dip
4 ounces blue cheese,crumbled
3/4 teaspoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup buttermilk or milk.
Creamy Herb Dip
2 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons fresh parsley
2 tablespoons chives,chopped
1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
