Don't let Kyle Wiltjer's baby face fool you. He's tougher than he looks.

The shooter with the sweet looking shot averages six points in only 13 minutes a game. With starter minutes, he'd be scoring in double figures. No surprise. He's never worked harder. Pain is a word he uses.

"When you are tired and just pushing through the pain, especially when you have workouts and practice and weights and stuff like that, it's just an adjustment and I'm glad I'm here," says Kyle Wiltjer.

Having the talent to play at a Kentucky, Duke or North Carolina is one thing. Having the personality to handle the pressure, is something else. When you are recruiting, it's an important piece in the puzzle.

"You're hoping that we've pegged the kids that we think can deal with all of this stuff," says Cal.

"Kyle Wiltjer. Not afraid at all. We pegged it right. He's not afraid at all. If he's open he's shooting it. Defensively he's out there playing hard. He's not playing in any way timid."

Wiltjer says bring it on. Call me names. Yell at us. I don't care.

"It's fun being a player and having a whole gym hating on you so, we're excited for it," says the freshman.

"It's always fun as a player going to away games."

Tuesday night with UK at Georgia Wiltjer expects to be yelled at, screamed at and cursed at. He says he doesn't listen. He's there to play ball.
