Theft Suspect Arrested In Lexington

The Lexington Division of Police has arrested James Nelson Watts IV, in connection to a theft in the Lexington area.

During the last week of January the Lexington Division of Police received theft reports from patrons of various restaurants, bars and other businesses in Lexington. In each of the reported cases the suspect falsely identified himself to obtain access to the premises. While on location the suspect stole electronic devices.

Investigators with the Division of Police have determined that Mr. Watts is responsible for at least one of these theft incidents. Specifically the theft reported on January 28, 2013 at 3743 Red River Dr, Lexington, KY. Investigators continue to work to determine if Mr. Watts may be connected to the other thefts.
