Officials say a former student at Anderson County High School made a threat against a current student and the school itself around 1:30 a.m. Monday.
Police did a sweep of the school building. The say they didn't find anything and cleared the school after determining it was safe for classes.
Officials say police took a suspect, James Tindal, into custody.
Parents were notified of the threat.
