Lexington police arrested three people after a violent gas station robbery Wednesday night.
Police say the attendant at the Swifty gas station on North Broadway told them a car with four people inside pulled up around 10:30 p.m. As the attendant approached, a man got out of the car and attacked. The robber pistol-whipped the employee, took cash and jumped back into the car.
EMS took the victim to the hospital for treatment of facial cuts.
Witnesses gave police a description of the car and the vehicle's license plate number. Officers spotted it a short time later along McCullough Drive. Police arrested Andrew L. Gragston, 22, and two juveniles in the car, and charged them with robbery.
