Frankfort Police have arrested three people in connection with a Tuesday morning home invasion.
Dylan Morse says that a man identifying himself as Jacob knocked on the door of his townhome on Ridgeview Drive about 9 p.m. Monday. Morse told the man to go away. About three hours later, he and some friends he had asked to come over saw some suspicious activity outside. As he approached the door, two armed men kicked it down and forced their way into the home. Morse says one suspect held a gun to his face and punched him three times, demanding all of his money. Morse handed over about $30, all he says he had on him.
The two men took off and jumped into a waiting car driven by a third man. One of the men followed the suspects and was able to describe the car, which police say they later located at a Speedway on Versailles Road.
Police arrested Gerren Keith Spain, 18, of Ellenwood Ga., Jamar E'Sean Rancher, 18, of Frankfort and Corey Edward Hay, 22, of Frankfort. The three were charged with first degree robbery and lodged in the Franklin County jail.
Morse suffered a black eye and some bruises on his face.
Morse said that he did not know the three men. He is in the process of moving out of his townhome.
