Three people were hospitalized with minor injuries Thursday morning after a semi rear-ended a truck on the Bluegrass Parkway that closed eastbound lanes.
The accident happened at about 8:45 a.m. near the Versailles exit. Police say the semi and pickup truck were driving westbound when the semi hit the pickup. The semi then crossed over the median into eastbound traffic, but didn't hit any other vehicles.
Three people inside pickup truck were sent to hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the semi was not injured.
Police say all lanes of traffic were re-opened in both directions at about 10:45 a.m.
