Three Hurt In New Circle Road Crash

Three people suffered injuries in a crash along New Circle Road early Monday morning.

Police say the driver of a pickup truck lost control and crossed the median near the Lexmark complex around 1:45 a.m. The truck crashed into the driver's side of a van, sending the truck rolling. One person crawled out of the truck. Firefighters had to help another victim out.

EMS took the driver and passenger in the truck, along with the driver of the van, to the hospital. Officials say they expect all three to recover.

Police shut down New Circle Road for about an hour.

Investigators say they think alcohol was a factor in the crash. They continue to investigate.
