Three people went to the hospital after a car drove into a Laurel County pond Sunday afternoon.
Deputies say the car went off Corn Cemetery Road, near KY-363, and into a pond. The driver and two passengers managed to get out of the partially submerged vehicle and make it to the pond's bank. EMS took all three victims to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries and hypothermia.
Officials say the driver told them a deer ran in front of the car, causing her to lose control on the rain-slick roads.
