A car ran down three pedestrians during a fight in Lexington early Thursday morning.

Police say a group of people were fighting behind the Shell gas station on the corner of Alexandria Drive and Versailles Road around 3 a.m. During the altercation, one person hit two adults and a juvenile with a car. A clerk at the Shell station says the driver tried to hit the victims a second time.

"I watched the vehicle. After the vehicle hit them, he rolled across the street to the Rite Aid, and turned around and tried to come back and hit everyone again. Then, he just took off," David Cauthen said.

Police say officers pulled over a pickup truck on Alexandria Drive and found one of the victims in the back. That person was taken to the hospital for treatment. All three victims hit by the car are expected to be OK.

Investigators say the suspect vehicle is a Chrysler Pacifica. Officers continue to search for that car.
