Three men have been sentenced for forcing the parents of two state troopers to rob a Jackson County bank.
Federal prosecutors called the 2004 robbery of Citizens Bank in Annville one of the most heinous robberies they'd ever seen. Police say Michael Gilliam, 50, Kevin Green, 38, and Randy Gilliam, 22, held a bank employee and her husband at gunpoint at their home.
Hilda Judd and her husband were tied up with wires and duct tape, then the trio forced them to go to the bank and open the safe. The robbers got away with over $200,000.
Michael Gilliam was sentenced to more than 31 years in prison, Green got 27 1/2 years and Gilliam got just over eight years.
