An Amber Alert for two missing Tennessee children has been cancelled after the two were found in Maryland.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation issued the Amber Alert Wednesday morning. At one point, police said the couple may have traveled through Lexington and may have been headed to Ohio.
Investigators say they think non-custodial parents Jeremy Knasel, 32, and Ashley Norberg, 24, abducted Summer Knasel, 3, and her 4-year-old sister Lovell in Van Buren County, Tenn. The county is located in the center of the state, between Knoxville and Nashville.
According to the TBI website, authorities took the girls from their parents earlier this month after police discovered the adults were manufacturing meth in their home.
