A toddler was taken to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Lexington Wednesday night.

The incident happened at about 9:30 p.m. On Moss Creek Drive. Officials say they were told a driver hit the one-year-old boy, who was taken to UK Hospital with non life-threatening injuries. At last check, the boy, whose name was not released, was listed in fair condition.

The investigation into the incident continues, and no charges have been filed at this time.
