With last night's 2" in snowfall in Lexington that brings our season's snow (Dec-Jan) to just under 6 inches. We're actually right on pace for a 'normal' snow year as the 'normal' through the end of January is just over 6". A normal meteorological winter snowfall is a little over a foot.

With the snow that we're tracking for this weekend, we should be adding to our total. At this point we're forecasting 1 to 4 inches of snow through the weekend, most of which falls Saturday. The snow chances will increase during the morning Saturday with snow tapering off later in the day.

It will also remain cold, starting in the teens and warming into the upper 20's during the afternoon
