The Winter Weather Advisory has been dropped for the Lexington metro area and points north & west. The advisory continues for eastern KY through 11PM tonight. The Ice Storm Warning for south central KY also runs through 11PM tonight. Although the bulk of the precipitation has ended across the Commonwealth, the combination of some snow, sleet and freezing rain have kept travel conditions hazardous, especially on untreated road surfaces. Be safe out there!
