A trial date has been set for the man accused of killing Lexington dermatologist, Dr. Martha Post.

A judge set the trial to start on November 14th for Marty Roe.

The trial was supposed to start next week, but according to the Herald Leader, a new witness came forward claiming to have incriminating evidence against Marty Roe. The new witness is Michael Roe, Marty's second cousin.

In a hearing Friday, the judge was supposed to hear from the new witness but that never happened.

Instead, the trial was post-poned until November.

Martha Post was shot to death in 2011 outside her Lexington office.
