Trinity Back On Top Of AP Basketball Poll

Trinity reclaimed the No. 1 spot in the most recent AP high school basketball poll after Madison Central lost its first game of the season to Henry Clay last week. The Indians fell one spot to No. 2. Ballard held steady at third, and Scott County slid back one to No. 5 after also losing to Henry Clay. Pleasure Ridge Park edged up into the fourth spot. Despite its splendid week, Henry Clay managed only managed No. 8. But the Blue Devils did garner one first place vote and were not even mentioned by voters the previous week. Madison Central got three first place votes with the balance going to the top-ranked Shamrocks.

DuPont Manuel will spend its second week on top of the girls' poll. Marion County stayed put at No. 2, while Mercy and Boone County switched spots. Boone County climbed to third.
