Trinity Ranked In Most National Football Polls

In 2011, the Trinity High School football team captured No. 1 rankings in several national football polls. The Kentucky state 6A champs didn't fare as well in 2012, but the Shamrocks did show up in most of the major national polls.

iHigh.com gave Trinity the most love, placing them 9th in the nation. The Shamrocks showed up in the middle of the pack in most polls. The only pollsters shutting the Rocks out of the national rankings were the folks over at ESPN.

Trinity finished the season 13-1, its lone loss to Archbishop Moller, Ohio, 45-42. The Shamrocks thumped Pleasure Ridge Park 61-7 in the state championship game to win their third straight title.

Undefeated 5A state champion Bowling Green showed up at No. 18 in the iHigh.com/Vype rankings.
