A semi driver went to the hospital after crashing her rig along I-75 early Thursday morning.

Police say the driver likely had a medical emergency at about mile marker 104, near the Athens-Boonesboro exit around 3:30 a.m. The truck hit an overpass before the driver pulled over, leaving a trail of debris along the interstate.

EMS took the driver to a local hospital to be checked out.

She was reportedly hauling a load up from a Tennessee farm.
