Two men wanted in the murder of a Metcalfe County man whose body was found in his burned home last week have been arrested.
The body of Thomas M. Martin 68, of Tompkinsville was identified by the coroner Friday after police say he was found in his burned home on Hope Road. Police say after investigating that they suspected arson in the fire.
On Monday at about 5 p.m., police in South Carolina arrested Jessie Dale Parke 22, of Summershade at a hotel in Myrtle Beach. Authorities say Parke's wife was with him and she booked the room under her maiden name.
Earlier on Monday, Jonathan Young, 22, of Glasgow was arrested by Kentucky State Police.
Jessie Parke is charged with murder, arson and first-degree burglary. Young is charged with complicity to commit murder, complicity to commit arson and first-degree complicity to commit burglary.
Parke is awaiting extradition back to Kentucky.
