Two men have been arrested in connection with a 2008 Oldham County home invasion robbery that left one of the suspects shot to death.

Timothy Carpenter, 23, and Joshua Fast, 23, were arrested Friday. Police say the arrests resulted from an ongoing investigation involving a home invasion that took place in late 2008 in Shelbyville. As a result of the home invasion, one of the men involved in the burglary was shot and killed by the home owner.

Carpenter and Fast are charged with second-degree complicity to manslaughter and burglary charges.
Both men are being held in the Shelby County Detention Center.
