Two Barren County men have been arrested and charged with possession of child pornography.

A Barren County grand jury indicted 25-year-old Gregory Dale Fields of Glasgow on four counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, a Class D felony. Twenty-eight-year-old James Anthony Taylor, also of Glasgow, faces twelve counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.

The indictments are the result of a lengthy investigation by Attorney General Jack Conway’s Cybercrimes Unit, which is a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Since its creation in June of 2008, Attorney General Conway’s Cybercrimes Unit has seized almost 55,000 child pornographic images from the Internet and investigated more than 100 child pornography cases, resulting in the indictments of 56 people.
