An accident in downtown Lexington Tuesday night sent two cars careening into the side of the Hyatt Hotel.

Police say one driver ran a red light at the intersection of Broadway and High Street. That car was T-boned, bounced off the side of the building and came to rest at the intersection of Broadway and Vine Street. The second vehicle spun out and stopped against the hotel's wall.

Both drivers managed to escape without injury.
