Two Charged In Speedway Robbery

Police have charged two people after the robbery of a Speedway in Lexington early Wednesday morning.

Police say two men walked into the Speedway on Paris Pike around 3 a.m., showed a shotgun and robbed the clerk of beer and money. A police dog tracked the robbers to a home on Strawberry Fields. Officers took three people into custody.

Police charged James D. Barber, 21, and Kaine M. Henshaw, 19, with robbery.

No word on charges filed against the third person taken into custody.
