Police arrested two people in connection with a kidnapping and robbery in Lexington over the weekend.
Police say Shaunacey Turner and Amber Smith lured two men they met at a bar back to their home on Charles Avenue Saturday night. When they got there, Harold Beard pointed a shotgun at the victims. Investigators say another man armed with a handgun was also there. The suspects tied up the victims with duct tape and robbed them.
Police say Beard later forced the victims to drive him at gunpoint in their own car. When they stopped at a traffic light, Beard jumped out of the car and ran.
Officers arrested Beard and Turner. They both face kidnapping and robbery charges. Police continue to search for the second male suspect. Smith was charged with complicity to commit robbery but was not arrested.
