Two men from Florida were arrested Friday in Rowan County as part of a joint drug trafficking investigation involving the Morehead Police Department, Rowan County Sheriffs Department and Operation UNITE.

Andre Ausmore, 27, and Jarvis Mccleod, 27, both of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida were arrested Friday at the B-Clean Car Wash in Morehead. During the investigation, it was discovered that Ausmore had made multiple trips to Morehead from Florida during the past year, bringing large quantities of narcotics with him to traffic.

Seized during the investigation were over 800 Percocet 30 mg pills and over $10,000 cash. Street value of the pills is estimated at over $24,000.
