BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) - A pair of former high-ranking Glasgow police officers have been sentenced to time served on federal drug charges.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says 42-year-old Johnny Lee Travis and 37-year-old Maxie Christopher Murray, both of Glasgow, were credited with serving 5 weeks of imprisonment and 8 months of home incarceration at their sentencing in Bowling Green on Wednesday.
The two men pleaded guilty in April to illegally possessing hydrocodone and tampering with a witness.
U.S. District Judge Thomas B. Russell also sentenced Travis and Murray to 2 years' supervised release.
Both men admitted to conspiring to get hydrocodone and persuade a witness not to share information about their crimes with law enforcement.
