Two Georgetown Robberies May Be Connected

Police say a gas station robbery in Georgetown Friday morning could be connected with a robbery in the city earlier this month.

Police say a masked man carrying a large kitchen knife walked into the Shell station on East Main Street around 3 a.m. and demanded cash.

Investigators say a similarly dressed man armed with a knife robbed the Shell station on Connector Road in Georgetown back on Oct. 5.

In both robberies, the man was dressed in dark clothing, wearing a white mask over his face.

Police continue to investigate.
