Two Hurt In Early Morning Crash In Lexington

Police say a driver running a red light caused a serious accident on Man O' War Boulevard in Lexington early Monday morning.

Investigators say the driver of a pickup truck ran a red light at the intersection of Man O' War Boulevard and Harrodsburg Road just after midnight and sideswiped a car. Firefighters had to cut two victims out of the wreckage of the car. EMS took them both to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Paramedics treated the driver of the truck and a third passenger in the car at the scene.
