Two people, including a child, were injured in a crash along Leestown Road in Lexington Monday morning.

Two cars collided at Leestown Road and Alexandria Drive around 7:45 a.m. One car sustained front end damage and the other vehicle had damage to the driver side door. EMS took two people to the hospital. Officials called their injuries minor.

Police say rain slick roads were probably a factor in the crash.
