Two people suffered injuries in a motorcycle accident in Lexington late Thursday night.

Police say the operator of the bike lost control and crashed at the intersection of Jingle Bell Lane and New Circle Road around midnight. EMS took both the driver and a passenger to UK Hospital for treatment of what officials described as non-life threatening injuries.

Police say reckless driving possibly contributed to the crash, but they don't expect to file any charges at this time.

Officials have not released the victims' names.
