Two people were hospitalized after a crash along I-64 in Scott County Sunday night.

The accident happened around 8 p.m. near mile marker 70. State police say a man fell asleep behind the wheel of his westbound SUV. The vehicle swerved off the road and flipped.

EMS took the driver and a passenger to UK Hospital. Officials did not release the victims' names or information on their conditions.

Police say they suspect alcohol could be a factor in the crash.
