DEVILS LAKE, N.D. (AP) - Authorities have identified two members of the Kentucky National Guard who died in a car crash while they were training in North Dakota.

Police say 23-year-old Jason Burnette, of Manchester, Ky., and 31-year-old Ronald Forsyth, of Ryland Heights, Ky., died early Thursday when the car they were in left a roadway in Devils Lake and slammed into a tree.

KZZY radio reports that two other Kentucky men in the vehicle were treated at a local hospital for injuries and released.

Authorities did not immediately determine who was driving.

The soldiers were training at the North Dakota National Guard's Camp Grafton facility south of Devils Lake.
