Lexington police continue the hunt for a pair of armed robbery suspects.

Police say the victim told them he was inside a room with two women at the Sportsman Motel on Winchester Road just after midnight Thursday when he heard a knock at the door. The two suspects pushed their way inside and the women fled. Investigators say the robbers roughed up the victim and pointed a gun at him. The suspects got away with some cash.

EMS took the victim to the hospital where he was treated for some minor injuries and released.

Police described one suspect as a white man in his late 20s. The second robber was a black man in his late 20s, standing around 6-foot-2, wearing a brown hoodie.
