Police are searching for a suspect after two teens were shot outside a New Year's Eve party in Lexington late Monday night.
The incident happened at just before midnight behind a Save-A-Lot store on Village Drive just off of Versailles Road. Police say a group of people got into an argument at the party and went outside. Police say that during the argument outside 10-15 shots were fired, injuring a 16-year-old in the chest and a 15-year-old in the hand.
Both were taken to the hospital with what were described as non life-threatening injuries.
Despite the number of people attending the party, police say they have only a vague description of the shooting suspect.
